Applications are now open for the second cohort of EarthScale, a UK-wide initiative designed to help IP-rich climate tech ventures scale, navigate manufacturing challenges, and secure Series A funding.

This free, 12-month programme is aimed at ambitious startups ready to accelerate their growth and collaborate with a strong ecosystem of partners. EarthScale provides tailored support to help founders overcome key barriers to commercialisation and expansion.

The initiative is backed by a leading network of academic institutions, including University of Derby and University of Nottingham, ensuring participants benefit from world-class research, facilities, and expertise.

Each selected company will receive a comprehensive venture diagnostic, forming the basis of a bespoke support package. This may include:

  • Access to cutting-edge laboratories, facilities, and university expertise
  • Investor introductions and one-to-one investment readiness support
  • Guidance on hiring, executive talent, and navigating policy, certifications, and regulatory frameworks

The programme is particularly relevant for innovative climate tech businesses seeking to scale their impact while strengthening their commercial and operational capabilities.

Applications are open now and will close on 13 April.
