Critical to supporting a hydrogen distribution infrastructure in the UK and further afield, the very latest milestone for Luxfer Gas Cylinders is a purpose-built production facility at its Nottingham site.
It is home to one of the company’s largest innovation projects - the G-Stor™ Hydrosphere – which delivers an industry-leading level of hydrogen storage capacity. The very first of these Multiple Element Gas Containers (MEGCs) will be introduced from summer 2024.
In addition, Luxfer’s alternative fuel engineers are developing hydrogen powered systems for a range of mobility applications – spanning HGVs, buses, trains, tractors, marine vessels, materials handling, aviation solutions and more.
